The meeting UHMC with representatives of the American branch of Meteomatics
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center hosted a meeting between representatives of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and representatives of the American branch of Meteomatics
The Ukrainian side was represented by:
Bohdan Masovets, Head of the Hydrometeorology Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine;
Iryna Grokhovetska, Head of the Department of Organization of the Hydrometeorology Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Mykola Kulbida - Director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center;
Anatoliy Prokopenko - Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center;
Oleh Skoropad - Advisor to the Director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on International Projects;
Alla Bilozerova, Deputy Head of the Meteorological Forecasts Department;
Tetiana Adamenko, Head of the Department of Agrometeorological Forecasts;
Ilya Perevozchykov, Head of the Hydrological Forecasts Department;
Ruslan Revyakin - Head of the International Cooperation Department;
Sergiy Kislov, Head of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Vladyslav Bilyk - Forecaster of the Meteorological Forecasting Department of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

The meeting was attended by Meteomatics representative Nick Cardillicchio, who made a presentation about the company.
Meteomatics is the first company in the world to calculate a pan-European weather model with a spatial resolution of one kilometer. Hourly model calculations provide the latest forecasts every hour, which also sets new standards for the relevance of forecasts.
During the meeting, the possibility for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center to access Meteomatics' technological services and data was discussed. Access to accurate weather data will help to increase productivity in forecasting and reduce the risks of dangerous meteorological phenomena.
